How Do I Get The Tracking Code?

1.First, you need to log in to your Google Analytics account

2.On the bottom left-hand side of the page, click Admin

3.From the left column titled Account, select an account from the drop down menu

4.From the middle column titled Property, select a property from the drop down menu.

5.Click Tracking Info > Tracking Code Under the Property column

6. At the top of the page under Tracking ID your website’s unique tracking ID is shown. This starts with UA.

Getting Your Tracking Code

After identifying your tracking ID, the next step is to get your tracking code snippet, copy and paste the code to every webpage you want to track on your website.

However, make sure you replace the of both G-XXXXXXXXXX with your own unique tracking ID provided by Google Analytics , copy & paste your code.


There are two codes: one for the <head> of the page and a second one for the <body>. You’ll have to paste these into your site

Confirming if Your Google Analytics is Set Up Properly

After placing the code in your website, you have to confirm it is working. To do this, go to Google Analytics, move to Realtime and then Overview.

How to link your google analytics to Google search console

Linking to the Google Search Console would actually grant you access to key metrics. All the keyword queries you ranked and people searched for you will be able to see it . If you don’t have a Search Console account, go to www.google.com/webmastertools o register. Click on it and scroll down to the search console setting.
