Who Is Angelo Moriondo?

Angelo Moriondo was born in Turin, Kingdom of Sardinia, on June 6, 1851, and died in Marentino, Turin, Italy, on May 21, 1914. Angelo Moriondo was the sixth in a family of six children.

The first “espresso machine” was invented by Angelo Moriondo in 1884. To make coffee, the Angelo Moriondo machine uses a combination of steam and boiling water.

Angelo Moriondo grew up in a family of business owners. Angelo Moriondo’s grandpa developed the liquor “Giacomo” with his brother Agostino and cousin Gariglio in the early days, and then founded the chocolate “Moriondo and Gariglio” with his brother Agostino and cousin Gariglio.

Angelo Moriondo then bought the enormous “Grand-Hotel-Ligure” in the City-Center, as well as the American Bar in the “Galleria Nazionale of Via Roma” and “Piazza Carlo Felice.”

Coffee became quite popular in other European countries, as well as in Italy, in the early nineteenth century.

Coffee drinkers had to wait more than 5 minutes in restaurants and coffee shops because traditional methods took time to prepare.

Angelo Moriondo was the first individual to patent a Espresso coffee vending machine in his own name, according to Google.

Angelo Moriondo’s innovation never made it to “Industrial Scale Production.” Angelo Moriondo’s invention was limited.

Google Doodle: Google Honors Angelo Moriondo (pioneer of espresso machines)

Today 6,June 2022 ,Google Doodle celebrates the godfather of espresso machines to commemorate the 171st birthday of Angelo Moriondo, the discoverer, Google designed an amazing doodle.

The “Godfather of Espresso Machines,” Morionado, as he has been dubbed. In 1884, he received a patent for the first espresso machine.

Google has included three animations in today’s artistic doodle, including a coffee machine and mugs that move after being filled.

The Doodle is divided into three panels, the first of which features a creative reworking of Angelo Morindo’s original Espresso Machine patent. The next two panels show an example of a Moriondo design, followed by a more modern espresso machine.

The letters “Google” are hidden within the discipline of view on these three panels, as is generally the case.

Doodle made a GIF of the original Expresso machine. Olivia was in charge of the design and was colored with coffee.

What really sets this Doodle apart is that it was shot entirely with espresso, in a way that you could style with a behind-the-scenes timelapse video.
